I found this via the Carnival of Education. I think the Henry IV parts I and II would be an excellent read for high schoolers, since it tracks Prince Hal his 'wild years' into maturity. It's a great opportunity to talk about a lot of issues teens face, such as how your friends impacts your relationship with your family, responsibility, growing up, even substance abuse. Plus, it's still Shakespeare, so they're learning about great writing. IMHO it'd be much more interesting to most teens than Romeo and Juliet.
