"Form will set you free" such a good piece of advice . It reminds me so much about my teacher at RADA , Andrew Visnevsky.

Gedaly,
I think you'd be very interested in "Shakespeare, Toasted" over at the Geek's place. It has everything to do with what we speak of here and what you've written about the Form.
Best, Willshill

Ooh, I like "the ropes" too. Fear of falling is a great way to put it. It can apply to many other activities that students may already be good at.

I'm likely to fall with the form so I won't use it...
But once you've learned to snowboard well enough you look super cool!

It's not unlike the discussion we've been having about 'translating' Shakespeare's works. By translating we ignore the form that Shakespeare wrote. But if we accept it and study it, the form is learned and the enjoyment increases exponentially.

What Great Insight.
Nothing needs to be added theoretically on this account. Substantiation comes from accounts of doing with the above in mind.

Reminds me of a thought I had years back when trying to explain how The Form can work:

Learn "the Ropes". Once learned, fear of falling disappears. It is supplanted by thoughts of more ingenious ways of using those ropes to climb much higher than one ever thought possible.
